Introduction

Welcome!

My name is Joyce Moore and this is the website for Seeds 2 Plugs. This business was first a concept that I wrote while completing my master’s in business. Our retail business was becoming more than our family could realistically handle. In response, I wanted to pursue a new path – commercial young plant production and greenhouse grown produce.

We have been growing seedlings (predominately tomatoes) for other farmers in southern New Jersey for over a decade. However, 2020 marked the first year of transition form retail sales to commercial production. The desire to make this transition was intensified by the COVID-19 crisis and desire to practice social distancing both for our health and our customers.

Our business serves the young plant needs of other greenhouses, garden centers, farm markets, and farmers in southern New Jersey.
